Well known Kirra Surf Technician Matthew Pitts will launch his new CD “Ride” at Cafe Le Monde on Saturday 7th November at 6pm.

A fomer professional surfer in the 80′s who grew up with Tom and Nick Carroll, Derek Hynd, Dougal Walker and a member of the notorious Newport Plus boardriders, Matthew moved to Japan 20 years ago establishing himself not only as one of Australia’s best surfing ambassadors but also as a much respected musician.

Pittsy returned home to Australia and moved to Kirra on the Gold Coast where he is the resident Surf Technician for Kirra Surf retail store. He possesses a wealth of worldly surfing experience and now following in  the Jack Johnson/Donavon Frankenreiter surfer turned muso role.

Matt still rips in the surf and now equally impresses with his new singer/songwriter career, hugely popular in Japan, Kirra SurfStock is happy to have Pittsy in the music pit! Don’t miss his show at Cafe Le Monde, Kirra Surf for a Saturday evening of entertainment.
