Cupid’s Bullet

While the mention of their name often evokes curiosity, the three piece Gold Coast based band Cupid’s Bullet leave nothing unanswered. The band’s indie rock/dance sound forces the listener into a state of perpetual motion which only ends with the sound of the last note.

Their unique, energetic indie tunes began erupting early in 2009 when the guitarist/singer broke his wrist, forcing him to write in a minimalistic but creative fashion. Since then the band has enjoyed playing venues such as The Great Northern (Byron Bay), Miami Shark Bar, SCU Uni Bar and many other great venues.

Currently the band is working hard on their much anticipated debut EP which will be released early this summer. The EP displays a wide variety of dynamics ranging from hard and energetic to delicate and intimate.

The band recently sold out a show at the SCU Uni bar. They played to a dancing crowd of over 600 people. But whether they’re playing to 5 people or 500, Cupid’s Bullet believe in giving it their all!
